MITOCHONDRIA: All the Grandmothers, Mothers and Daughters

This body of work has evolved from a herstorical record of women of my ethinic identity rendered solely in oil paint into one made from fabric and photo transfer collage. It is part of my effort to rematriate my diaspora’s colonial narrative.
